thur Patrick Roche, 52 of Leonardtown, MD, formerly of Norfolk, VA, died on November 29, 2008 at Charlotte Hall Veterans Home.

Born on December 13, 1955 in Chicago, IL, he was the son of the late Arthur Roche and Bridgett Reynolds Roche of Ireland.

Mr. Roche retired as a Chief Petty Officer for the U.S. Navy. After retiring, he worked as a Contractor Liaison for Dimensions International with the U.S. Navy for 10 years.

He was a member of Sanner's Lake Gun Club. His enjoyments were his family, especially spending time with his grandchildren, photography, collecting guns, and traveling. He traveled the world in the Navy.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his children, Rebecca L. (Theodore "T.C.") Roche-Hooven of Virginia Beach, VA and Sean P. (Mallory) Roche of Leonardtown, MD; step-son, Richard Roche of Fredericksburg, VA; siblings, Elizabeth (Michael) Cannon, Mary, James, and John Roche and grandchildren, Kyla R. Roche and Kent C. Hooven, both of Virginia Beach, VA.

A Memorial Service will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday, December 6, 2008 at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd.,Charlotte Hall, MD. Interment private.
