Marlene R. Tayman, 84, of Bel Alton, MD passed away on December 2, 2008 at her Residence.

She is preceded in death by her parent's; Henry P. Speight and Mabel E. Weltzheimer Speight. Husband; Joseph R. Tayman. Brother; Henry Speight, and Sister; Viola Stephens.

She is survived by her Son; Michael B. Tayman (Jeanne). Daughters; Joan M. Huffman (Jeffery) and Patricia A. Garner (Butch). Sister; Elizabeth McCaskill. 7 Grandchildren and 9 Great-Grandchildren. And also by many Nieces and Nephews.

Marlene retired in 1979 from N.O.S. as the Editor of the Newspaper. She was active in the Red Cross, and taught High School CCD at St. Ignatius Catholic Church-Chapel Point. She was also very active at the La Plata Senior Center and would love to Dance. Above all, she loved her Family very much.

A Life Celebration will take place on Monday, December 8, 2008 from 2-4 pm & 6-8 pm with prayers at 7 pm at AREHART-ECHOLS FUNERLA HOME, P.A. A Mass wiil be on Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at 10 am at St. Ignatius Catholic Church-Chapel Point. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.
