Curtis, Elsie Lee (Age 78) of Indian Head, Maryland

Elsie Lee (Onley) Curtis, was born on August 26, 1942 in Indian Head, Maryland, she entered into eternal rest on Friday, August 21, 2020 peacefully at home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerome W. Curtis Sr., only three 3 months ago, her soulmate, who she truly missed. Her parents, Raymond H., Sr. and Elsie Onley, two brothers; Raymond Onley Jr. and Curtis Onley, two sisters; Antoinette Payne and Ernestine Onley.

Elsie leaves to mourn her five sons, two daughters, 18 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren along with two daughters-in-law and one son-in-law, three sisters; Renee Matthews, Marsha "Kay" Dade and Karen Matthews. Along with a host of many nephews, nieces, other family members and great friends.

Her viewing will be held from 9:00am until time of service 11:00am on Wednesday, September 2nd, Chapel of Thornton Funeral Home, P.A., 3439 Livingston Road, Indian Head, Maryland 20640. Interment, St. Charles Cemetery, Glymont, Maryland.
