Richard Allen Jenkins, 67, of Port Tobacco, MD, died on August 18, 2020 at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital.
Richard was born on April 17, 1953 in Loudoun County, VA to the late Robert Jenkins, Sr and Norma Paxson-Jenkins.
Richard was a general sales manager at Waldorf Chevy Cadillac. Over the last 40 years he worked at various car dealerships starting at the bottom and worked his way up to management. He was well respected in the industry. He collected Coca-Cola and John Deere items. He enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson. Richard loved his family and cherished the time they spent together.
In addition to his parents Richard is preceded in death by his daughter Richelle Dawn Jenkins.
He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Lovely Jenkins; daughters, Nicolette Viering and Victoria Jenkins; grandson, Jackson Viering; brothers, Robert Jenkins, Jr. and Mark Jenkins and niece, Elizabeth Jenkins.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 from 10:00AM until time of service at 11:30AM at New Life Wesleyan Church, 9690 Shepherds Creek Place, La Plata, MD 20646. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, MD.
