Clifton "Cliff" Anderson Barber, Jr., 46, of Mechanicsville, MD passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 18, 2020, at his home.

He was born on June 2, 1974 in LaPlata, MD to the late Clifton Anderson Barber, Sr. and Linda Jean (Fuller) Barber of Mechanicsville, MD.

Cliff graduated from Chopticon High School in 1992. After graduation, he went on to work in the construction field. He loved to work with his hands and felt pride in his work. He enjoyed being a heavy equipment operator. He also worked in the logging industry and helped cut and trim trees. There was never really anything he couldn't do; a real jack-of-all-trades. He was a carpenter, a mechanic and could lay tile. He was always working on his Bobcat.

Enough though he didn't attend church he was a religious man. He loved watching the history channel and specifically shows featuring sections of the Bible.

Cliff is survived by his mother, Linda Jean Barber of Mechanicsville, MD; son, Kyle Barber and daughter, Chelsea Marie Barber; brother, Brett L. Barber of Mechanicsville, Maryland; and many friends and extended family. He was preceded in death by his father, Clifton Anderson Barber, Sr. and brother, Ryan Lee Barber.

The family will receive friends for Cliff's Visitation on Thursday, August 27, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. officiated by Father Chris Jubinski at Brinsfield Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Christ Church, 25390 Maddox Road, Chaptico, MD 20621.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Cliff's name to Christ Church, Post Office Box 8, Chaptico, MD 20622.
