Julia Elizabeth Pike, 92, died August 14th, 2020 at her home in Midlothian, VA. She was born May 8, 1928 in St. Mary's County Maryland, the daughter of Roland Lee Mozingo and Dalrus Coil Deagle.

Julia graduated Great Mills High School, class of 1947. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Addison Pike, and her sister, Dalrus Elenora "Ellie" Mozingo Torrey. She worked for a time as a secretary on Pax River, where she met Robert. Once married, she raised four children and often supported her husband in various business ventures. She loved reading, animals, and the holidays, especially Christmas. She was a devoted Christian, warm-hearted friend, and caring mother. She was an active member of St. George's Island United Methodist Church. She is survived by her children, Delores Pike Vitello, Barbara Jean Pike Nidever, Robert Wayne Pike Sr., and Jeffrey Lee Pike, 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

The family will receive will friends on Thursday, August 20, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Leonardtown, MD with a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Matthew Tate officiating. She will be laid to rest following the funeral service at Evergreen Memorial Gardens Great Mills, MD.
