Debra K. Osman, 66 of Hollywood, Md. passed away on August 8, 2020 at St. Mary's Nursing Center, Leonardtown after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Debra was born on June 30, 1954 in Washington, DC. She was the daughter of the late Reed Osman and Margaret A. Osman of Mechanicsville, Md. After growing up in Oxon Hill, Md., she moved with her family to St. Mary's County in 1987.

Debra was a talented artist who enjoyed creating beautiful canvas paintings, crafts and poetry. She loved music and creating unique recipes that she called concoctions. She also had a passion for learning and took advantage of every opportunity with which she was presented. When she wasn't creating art she loved cheering on her favorite sports team the Washington Redskins.

She loved her daughters unconditionally and cherished being a grandmother (Nanny). Watching her grandchildren grow through adolescence and seeing the men they became and meeting her great granddaughter for the first time was her greatest joy.

Debra is survived by her daughters, Veronica (Ronni) Saunders and Monica Quade both of Hollywood, Md.

She left behind two beloved sons-in-law, Robert Saunders of Hollywood, Md. and Thomas (Frankie) Quade of Hollywood, Md., her three grandchildren, John Saunders and his wife Victoria of Oregon, OH, Robby Saunders of Hollywood, Md., and Kyle Freeman of Hollywood, Md., and one great grandchild, Addilynn Freeman of Waldorf, Md.

Services will be private.
