Frances Jeanette Biscoe, 90 of Dameron, MD passed away peacefully on June 28, 2020 at Hospice House of St. Mary's.

Jeanette was born on September 30, 1929 in Scotland, MD to the late James Edward Bradburn and Katherine Cecilia Dunbar.

On August 30, 1947, Frances married her beloved husband, Daniel Bennett Biscoe. Together they celebrated over 52 wonderful years of marriage before his passing in September 1999. She was a dedicated fourth and fifth grade teacher for many years at St. Michael's Catholic School and later as a substitute teacher for Ridge Elementary School. She was a delicious cook and canned much of her husband's bountiful garden. Frances also enjoyed sewing and made beautiful quilts and crocheted apparel. She entered her canned goods and quilts in the St. Mary's County Fair in which she won multiple ribbons. She enjoyed taking bus trips and playing the slot machines. She also enjoyed a good game of cards. She was a lifelong member of St. Cecilia's Catholic Church, Ladies of Charity, The Knights of Columbus Belles and the Red Hat Society.

She is survived by her son, James Daniel Biscoe (Linda) of St. Inigoes, MD; her grandsons, Daniel Charles Biscoe (Janet) of Millersville, MD and Timothy James Biscoe (Gina) of Lusby, MD; four great grandchildren: Daniel "DJ" Biscoe, Matthew Biscoe, Brandon Biscoe and Ashley Biscoe; and extended family and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she is also preceded in death by her sister, Mary Elizabeth Appleby.

Family will receive friends on Thursday July 9, 2020 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated by Rev. Scott Woods at 11:00 a.m., at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church, 47950 Mattapony Road, St. Mary's City, MD 20686. Interment will follow in St. James Cemetery in Lexington Park, MD.
