Oliver Oniel Greenfield was born on October 13, 1932 to the late James Edward and Mary Lillian Greenfield. He departed this life on June 9, 2020. Oliver attended Charles County public schools. After graduation, Oliver served a term in the U.S. Navy. He was employed with the Prince George's County School Board as a Landscaper until his retirement. He leaves to cherish the memories of his life: his brother Eugene Greenfield Sr. of Waldorf, MD and his sister Ella Greenfield of Washington, D.C.; Godchildren Thomas Greenfield and Sheila Greenfield Page; Oliver was preceded in death by his siblings and their spouses: James E. (Edna), Mary L. Bond (Sylvester), Lillian C. Bigby (Cardoza), John W. (Vernita), and Eleanor; in-laws, Bernice and Thomas Greenfield; his nieces and nephews were all considered as his children and he loved them dearly. In addition, he had a special friend Ruthie Allen, who was with him prior to his death. Visitation will be held on Friday June 19, 2020 from 9-10:30 a.m. at the Adams Funeral Home Chapel 20605 Aquasco Road Aquasco, Maryland 20608.
