Harry Miller, Jr., 94, of Charlotte Hall, Md. and formerly of Silver Spring, Md., passed away on May 26, 2020 at the Charlotte Hall Veterans Home.

Born September 20, 1925 in Hanover Township, Pa., he was the son of the late Harry Miller, Sr. and Lena (Speary) Miller.

Harry served in the Army Air Force from June 25, 1943 until November 26, 1945, earning the WWII Victory Medal and two Bronze Stars. He graduated from Washington Adventist College and was a Chemist for the U.S. Government for thirty years, retiring in 1990. Harry was a Mason and was Past Worshipful Master for the State of Maryland. He was a member of Silver Spring Lodge #215.

Harry is survived by his daughter, Diana Beavers of Owings, Md.; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol (Gudenius) Miller; and his siblings, Myrtle Thomas, Priscilla Griffin, Tucker Morgan and William Speary.
