Matthew "Matt" Edward Davis, age 22, of Hollywood, MD, passed away on June 8, 2020 in Baltimore, MD.

He was born in Calvert County, MD on September 12, 1997 to Steven M. Davis and Catherine M. Davis.

Matt attended Leonardtown High School from 2011-2014. He was employed as a cook for Holy Frijoles Restaurant. He was talented at every endeavor that he attempted including becoming a musician, skateboarding, and cooking. Matt was a drummer, guitarist, and a member of three different bands: Luci, The GBC, and Warriors of Radness. His favorite music genre to perform was Punk and Progressive Rock. He was also an excellent skateboarder and would often be found showing off his talent at Leonardtown Square, MD. He was a fantastic cook and was known for gourmet hot dogs and Mexican foods. Matt was a people person who never met a stranger and found joy in caring for others. He had a special love for animals and would often care for neighborhood cats. His loving, caring nature will be remembered by all who knew him.

Matt is survived by his parents, Steven M. Davis of Hollywood, MD and Catherine M. Davis of Hollywood, MD; siblings, Nicholas N. Farrington and wife Lindsay of Sherwood, AR, Keirra M. Keenan and husband Josh of Jay, ME, and Kaitlin E. Davis and fiancé Kyle Ainsley of Jay, ME.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a remembrance service at 6:00 p.m., at Brinsfield Funeral Home, 22955 Hollywood Road, Leonardtown, MD 20650. Interment will be private.
