Patricia Lee Ziencik, age 80 of Waldorf, Maryland died June 3, 2020 at Calvert Memorial Hospital in Prince Frederick, Maryland.

Patricia worked and retired after 25 years from the Department of Agriculture and made many life-long friends while bowling (duck pins). She never missed a dance competition or cheer leading event for her granddaughter, Jenni. She also loved family vacations in Ocean City and enjoyed watching the Redskins, CAPS, and Nationals.

She was the daughter of Elwood "Buck" Childs and Ruth Lee Hoffman Childs. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her husband, John "Ziggy" Ziencik and her sisters and spouses, Dorothy Newman (Jimmy) and Peggy Margelos (Hoe).

She is survived by her daughter, Kim Schweitzer (and fiancé, Tim Cooper); her grandchild, Jennifer Schweitzer; and her great grandchild, Bryce Cagle.

Due to COVID 19, funeral services will be private.
