Everett Scully Clark, 93 of Mechanicsville, MD passed away peacefully on June 7, 2020 at his home.

Everett was born on May 16, 1927 in Bakersfield, CA to the late Paul Graham Clark and Maude Rosalie (Ordway) Clark.

Everett married his loving wife, Mary Ann Clark on December 28, 1945 in Rockville, MD. They spent 75 years together before her passing in October of 2019. He was employed as a salesman for Washington Concrete Company for over 20 years. Upon retirement he opened his own business in construction-Clark Remodeling which he operated from 1978 until 2012. He loved gardening and kept his yard in tip top shape. Everett and his wife enjoyed travelling to Maine to visit friends and road trips to Dover to play the slots and visit the beach. He and his wife enjoyed eating Maryland hard crabs any chance they had. In his spare time he enjoyed a game of Pitch and golf. He will always be remembered for his sense of humor and his kind nature.

He is survived by his children, Judy Lynn Clark of Mechanicsville, MD, Nancy Ellen Clark (Mount) of Sterling, VA, Phyllis Jean Clark (Michael Cox) of Edinburg, VA, and Joan Marie Clark (Fraber) of Winchester, VA; 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, his son, Kurt Donald Clark, and his siblings, George Clark, Lester Keyes, Rosalie Powers, and Lewis Clark.

The family will have private services. Interment will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at 2:00 p.m., at Columbia Gardens Cemetery, 3411 Arlington Blvd., Arlington, VA 22201.
