Phyllis Kerns Chambers, 67, of Owings, MD passed away on June 4, 2020 in Kensington, MD. Born on October 25, 1952 in Minneapolis, MN she was the daughter of the late Bernard Joseph Kerns and Irene Anne Witasek Kerns. Phyllis was the beloved wife of Robert A. Chambers, loving mother of Jenifer Seekford (William), Amanda Soto (Carlos), and Robert Chambers, Jr. (Melissa). She was the devoted grandmother of Sarah, Rachel and Elizabeth Seekford, Alexander and Olivia Soto and Morgan Chambers. Phyllis was the sister of Constance Davis, Joseph Kerns, Therese Ballard, Mary Kundrat, Patrick Kerns and Monica Bennsky.

The family will receive friends at Jesus the Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 1601 W. Mount Harmony Road, Owings, MD 20736 on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM where at Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, 8000 Woodyard Road, Clinton, MD 20735.
