Loker Welch, 98 years old of Newburg, Maryland died on November 17, 2008.

He is survived by his children E. Etta MacBurney, Shirley Miller, Joseph Welch, Ruth Swann, Charlotte Goldsmith and Catherine Coulby. Sister Helen Pollock and Brother Thomas C. Welch. Also survived by 17 Grandchildren, 30 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great-Great Grandchildren.

He is predeceased by his wife Lillian Welch and his parents Joseph and Ellen Welch.

The family will recieve friends at the Arehart-Echols Funeral Home on Friday from 2pm to 4pm and 6 to 8pm with a prayer service at 7pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10am at the Holy Ghost Catholic Church. Interment to follow at the church cemetery.
