Katie Lynn Barickman, 39 of St. Mary's County, MD passed away on May 14, 2020.

She was born on January 16, 1981 in Leonardtown, MD to David Brian Bennett (Betty), of Great Mills, MD and Terry Kay Bennett.

Katie was employed by Vintage Values as a sales clerk and Crabknockers for the past couple years. She had two beautiful daughters, Haley and Catherine. She had a love for the water and enjoyed all that came along with it including fishing, crabbing, and taking in the beautiful scenery. She was also an excellent cook with some of her specialties being stuffed ham and all the fixings of a traditional Thanksgiving feast, which was also her favorite time of year. In her spare time she also enjoyed cleaning and was known as a clean freak. Her memory will forever be cherished and she will be missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her parents; her children, Haley and Catherine Barickman of California, MD, and her brother, David Brian Bennett, Jr (Crystal) of Fort Hood, TX.

A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2020 from 1:00 to 1:30 p.m., at Brinsfield Funeral Home, P.A. with a Memorial Service at 1:30 p.m. Interment is private.
