Melissa Louise Spry, 63, of Lexington Park, MD died on November 17, 2008 at her residence.

Born March 13, 1945 in Cleveland, OH, she was the daughter of the late Ralph B. and Florance H. Meresicky Frick. Mrs. Spry was a registered nurse.

She is survived by her husband, Donald J. Spry of Lexington Park, MD, three daughters, Laura Merkle of Dayton, OH, Melissa Jett of Asheville, NC, Michelle Rutherford of Richlandtown, PA, three sons, John Rogers of Cleveland, OH, Matthew Rogers of Los Angeles, CA, Stephen Spry of Quakertown, PA , seven grandchildren, three sisters, Susan Cowles of Los Angeles, CA, Laura Frick of Shargin Fall, OH, Tina Frick of Kent, OH and a brother, Kevin Frick of Cleveland, OH.

The family will receive for Melissa's Life Celebration on Friday, November 21, 2008 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Brinsfield Funeral Home, P.A., 22955 Hollywood Road, Leonardtown, MD. Prayers will be recited at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 22, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. in Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Lexington Park, MD. The Reverend Jack Kennealy will be the celebrant. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
