Fred Allen Cook, 67 of Charlotte Hall, MD, passed away on November 17, 2008 at Mandrin Hospice House in Harwood, MD.

Born July 5, 1941 in Dunbar, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Marybelle Cook.

Mr. Cook was an Operating Engineer in the Textile Industry. He loved his grandchildren, family and friends. Fred collected and ran O scale Lionel Trains, he also owned horses his whole life and enjoyed riding and volunteered teaching disabled children to ride at the Show Place Arena.

Mr. Cook is survived by his children; Marybelle A. Cook-Edelen, (David), Deborah Cook, and Timmy W. Cook, (Cindy), siblings;, Eddie Joe, Carol and Sharon, grandchildren; Shawn, David, III, Danielle, Coty, Daniel, Dylan, Laura and Samantha.

Friends are invited to Fred's Life Celebration on Friday, November 12, 2008 from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm in the Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD 20622 where a Funeral Service will be conducted at 10am, Saturday, November 22, 2008 with Father Peter Alliata officiating. Interment will follow in Fort Lincoln Cemetery, Brentwood, MD.
