Steven Edward "Steve" Smith, 62, of Lusby, Md. passed away on May 8, 2020 at his residence. Born December 7, 1957 in Ocean City, NJ, he was the son of the late Lewis Edward Smith and Hazel (Heim) Smith.

Steve graduated from Catonsville High School in 1976 and from Gupton Jones Mortuary College in 1982. He moved to Calvert County from Baltimore, Md. in 1985 and was a Funeral Director for Rausch Funeral Home, P.A.

Steve is survived by his wife, Suzanne (Sprecher) Smith; his children, Astin Lewis Smith (Renee) of Lusby, Md. and Lindsey Laughlin Smith of Annapolis, Md.; grandchild, Skyla Rose Smith of Lusby, Md.; and his brother, Scott Smith.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date to be determined.
