Henry Alan Brown,69, of Callaway, MD formerly from Valley Lee, MD passed away on May 4, 2020 in Charlotte Hall, MD. He was born on October 26, 1950 in Leonardtown, MD and was the loving son of the late Gertrude L. Arnold Brown and Royal K. Brown. Alan is survived by his sister Trudy Dartouzos and, and his nephew Daemon Dartouzos of Leonardtown, MD. He was a lifelong St. Mary's County, MD resident.

He graduated from Suitland High School and attended college for 2 years. Alan served in the United States Marines from September 1, 1971 to December 12, 1976.

He was a Technician for the Smithsonian for 28 years. His hobbies included teaching, swing dancing, at the Recreation Departments in Calvert County, MD, St Mary's County, MD, and College of Southern Maryland.
