Mr. Paul Joseph Lyles, Jr. "Jim-buddy" was born to Paul Joseph, Sr., and Ella Louise Lyles on August 3, 1950 in Charles County, Md. He peacefully departed this life on Saturday, April 25, 2020.

Paul was educated in the Charles County public school system. He was known to be a strong and hard-working man. He held several positions over the years including Sanitation Worker, Construction Laborer, Salvage Yard Worker to name a few. It was not hard at all for Jim-buddy to pick up odd jobs to make a little money; you could call him a "Jack of All Trades!"

Preceded in death by his parents, Paul Sr. and Ella Lyles, his brothers Albert "Butchie" and George Lyles, sisters Joyce Shorter and Carrie Lyles, nephew Paul Shorter, great nephews Trae Hurd and Nathaniel Penn and great niece Mia Shorter. "Jim-buddy" leaves to rejoice in his memories; three brothers, William Leroy "Tinyman", Clarence Leo "DD" (Marlene), James Randolph "Randy", and one sister Carolyn Prince "Angel". He also leaves 20 nieces and nephews, 38 great nieces and nephews, three great-great nephews and one great-great niece Egypt.

Visitation will be held on Sunday May 3, 2020 at the Adams Funeral Home Chapel 20605 Aquasco Road Aquasco, Maryland from 2-4 p.m. Service and Interment Private To Family Only.
