Margaret Mary Langley, 86, of Leonardtown, Md. died April 6, 2020 at Hospice House of St. Mary's in Callaway, Md. with her family by her side.

She was born on August 10, 1933 in Oklahoma to the late Morris Swett and Mary Agnes Cox Swett.

On December 28, 1953 Margaret married the love of her life Charles R. Langley, Jr. in Virginia and they were married for 54 wonderful years before his passing in 2008. Margaret was a Navy wife for 25 years. She volunteered at the Navy Relief to help out where she could. She enjoyed living abroad and traveling with her husband and her family. Margaret was a Real Estate Agent for Century 21 for 25 years. She took pride in assisting her customers' needs in locating a new home. Margaret was an excellent cook. While living abroad she enjoyed learning cooking styles of countries she lived and visited. She enjoyed teaching her children and grandchildren the art of cooking and entertaining. She enjoyed flower arranging and Ikebana. Margaret loved being outdoors and keeping her yard in a particular order. She was a strong woman who was devoted to and loved by her family unconditionally.

Margaret is survived by her daughters, Mary Pinson (Scott) of Leonardtown, Md. and Catherine McNair (Ed) of Arlington, VA; her brother Rev. Charles Swett of Oklahoma; her grandsons, Patrick McNair (Danielle) and Lawrence Langley and her great grandchildren Colton and Georgina McNair. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and Brothers Timothy Swett and Lawrence Swett.

Interment will be at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery.
