Thomas "Tommy" Anthony Welch, age 80, of La Plata, Maryland, died March 5 2020 at the Charles County Hospice House in Waldorf, Maryland. Tommy was a veteran of the National Guard in La Plata, Maryland and a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church at Hilltop, Maryland. He was also the owner/operator of Marbury Service Center and the founding member of "No Name Car Club of Charles County."

He was the son of John R. Welch and Helen Risko Welch. He is survived by his wife, Linda Lee Welch; his stepsons, Ron Bowie (Crystal) and Todd Bowie; his brother, George "Marty" Welch (Linda "Susie"); his sister, Hazel Welch Rhinera; and his grandchildren. Jacob, Matthew, Madeline, and Austin.

Visitation on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 from 5-8PM with Wake Service at 7PM at Raymond Funeral Service Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, Maryland 20646. Memorial Mass and Interment on Monday, March 16, 2020 at 10AM at. St. Ignatius Catholic Church at Hilltop, 6455 Port Tobacco Road, Port Tobacco, Maryland 20677.
