Margaret Ann Buckler, 71, of Hollywood, MD passed away on February 25, 2020 at her home. Born on September 15, 1948 in Leonardtown, MD she was the daughter of the late James Elmer Bowles and the late Eleanor Elizabeth Wood Bowles. Margaret married her first love, Jay B. Buckler in 1966. Together they shared over twenty-seven (27) years of marriage. She was happily surprised to meet and marry Tim Kearney in 1992, and spend over 13 years with him until his passing in 2010.

Never one to rest, Margaret worked hard to support her family. She was employed as a store clerk at several Liquor stores for many years, and then as an office manager for Beltway Garage Doors and then Doors Plus. She was a jack-of-all-trades and if she didn't know how to fix-it she would figure it out. Margaret wasn't always working outside her home; she was a wonderful homemaker. A loving mother and grandmother, she doted on her family. She was an excellent cook and baker. She would make you feel at home with a big meal, delicious dessert and motherly advice. Margaret loved being called Mom, Momma and MomMom. She pampered her grandchildren and never turned down the opportunity to spend time with them. She could be found in her garden, planting, weeding and admiring her flowers and plants.

After marrying Tim, Margaret found a love for the Patuxent River. They purchased a commercial crabbing boat, and founded T&M Seafood. They were out in the early morning hours with the crabs biting and the sun rising above the water. She found peace with the water lapping against the hull.

A mother, grandmother, friend and amazing woman has gone on to enjoy her heavenly home. Her family will miss her immensely. As you look into the eyes of her family, you will see the spirit of a strong woman who has passed on a legacy of kindness, courage and beauty. May you hold your family tight and know that Margaret would have encouraged you to be happy.

Margaret is survived by her children, Dale Lee Buckler (Bernadette) of Leonardtown, Melissa Lynn Quade (Tommy) of King George, VA, Mary Elizabeth "Betsy" Buckler of Clements, Jay Joseph Buckler (Nicole) of Broadway, VA, and Bobbie Jo Gass (Travis) of Clements; 16 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Also surviving are her siblings, Nora Quesenberry of Prince Frederick, Patricia Wathen (Joe) of Leonardtown, Mary Elizabeth "Betty" Tabler (Les) of Garner, NC, and Tina Williams (Jimmy) of California, MD. She is preceded in death by her husbands, her parents and her brothers, Joseph Bowles and Charles "Steve" Bowles, and her son Richard "Ricky" Allen Buckler.

The family will receive friends for Margaret's Life Celebration Visitation on Saturday, February 29, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. with a Funeral Service following at 10 a.m. Interment will follow immediately at the All Faith Episcopal Church cemetery (procession departing from funeral home). All arrangements have been made by Brinsfield Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A., Charlotte Hall, MD.
