Robert LeRoy "Bobby" Harris,79, of Sunderland, Maryland transitioned into heaven at his home surrounded by his family on February 5, 2020. He was born on May 14, 1940 in Washington, DC to LeRoy Edward and Junita Ounice Harris. He married Gloria Jean "Sissie" Guido on June 16, 1961.

Bobby enlisted in the Army National Guard Reserves on November 13, 1959 as PVT (E2) MPC and was honorably discharged on February 28, 1965. Bobby was employed by Giant Foods and retired after 32 years. In retirement he and his friends bought and sold storage units. They were the pioneers who stared the RT 231 Calvert County Fairground Flea Market. In his leisure time, he enjoyed fishing, deer hunting, bowling and shooting pool.

Most of all he loved spending time with his wife of 59 years, Gloria, family, friends and his animals. He is survived by his wife Gloria J. Harris; daughter, Christine King and son-in-law, Russell of Sunderland, MD; son, James Harris and daughter-in-law, Elizabeth, of Huntingtown, MD; his grandchildren, Jessica Meador, Richard Harris, Randy Harris, Kelsi Harris, Russell King II, Brooklyn Hayden,and Brayclyn King; great grandchildren, Ryan and Matthew Meador, Matthew and Kinsley Hayden and Blakley Harris and by his brothers Joseph E. Harris of Huntingtown, MD and Bernie Harris of Hyattsville, MD.
