Callie Elizabeth Jones, 78 of Hollywood, MD died on November 3, 2008 at Washington Hospital Center.

Callie was born on August 30, 1930 in Carroll County, VA and married her late husband, Robert L. Jones in 1947. They lived in St. Mary's County after he was separated from the U.S. Army following WWII. They then moved to Charles County for the next 36 years. They moved back to Hillsville, VA in 1984 after her husband's retirement. Callie moved back to Hollywood, MD in July 2006 when her husband passed away. She lived with her daughter, Brenda and her Son-in-law, Ron Thompson until her death. Callie was a feisty, loving, and kind woman. She was a faithful Jehovah's Witness.

Callie leaves behind her daughter, granddaughter, Laurie Wylam of Newark, DE, grandsons, Jason Stewart of Charlotte Hall, MD, Jeff Stewart of Lexington Park, MD, and James Stewart of Calgary, Canada, great-granddaughter, Briana, and great-grandsons, Michael, Ryan, and Sean.

Family will receive friends on Friday, November 7, 2008 from 6-8PM at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD where Services will be held at 7PM. Interment will be private.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hollywood Volunteer Rescue Squad.
