Rose Margaret Disclafani, 90, of Mechanicsville, MD passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, January 21, 2020, surrounded by her loving family. Rose was born on February 23, 1929 in Monessen, Pennsylvania to the late Luigi Imbrogno and Caroline (Setting) Imbrogno. She was one of seven (7) children and the last to pass through the heavenly gates.

She met her best friend and forever love, Salvatore A. Disclafani while attending a local dance. They spent over 65 years dancing and laughing together before Salvatore's passing in 2013. Together their love produced two (2) beautiful daughters, and the family grew with each generation, adding four (4) grandchildren and six (6) great-grandchildren.

Rose was a vibrant and feisty woman who loved her family. She adored having everyone together and cooking up a traditional Italian feast. If you were lucky enough to sit at her table, you left full, happy and blessed. Rose never stopped at just the main course, she loved to bake, and was a magician when it came to her coconut cream pie and her Italian cookies. They were a treat she spoiled her husband and family with on special occasions.

Rose had a heart of gold and love for life. She rejoiced in the Lord and her family. She had an artistic nature she used to make beautiful crafts. A gifted seamstress, she made all the draperies, pillow cases and pillows in her home. She had an eye for beauty and the touch of an angel. She was a gardener, growing delicious vegetables and also beautiful flowers. Her bright smile and quick wit will be dearly missed. Memories of her inherent joy will last a lifetime for her family, and knowing that she is reunited with her beloved husband in heaven will bring them peace.

Rose is survived by her daughters, Sandra Dippold (Vance) of La Plata, MD, and Virginia Roach (Richard) of Mechanicsville, MD; four (4) grandchildren; six (6) great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and siblings, Carmela Zugaro, Michael Imbrogno, Albert Imbrogno, James (Frank) Imbrogno, John Imbrogno and Joseph Imbrogno.

The family will receive friends for Rose's Life Celebration Visitation on Friday, January 24, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with Prayers at 7:00 p.m. at Brinsfield Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. A Funeral Service will be heard at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Our Lady of the Wayside Catholic Church, 37575 Chaptico Road, Chaptico, MD 20621. Interment will follow immediately at Queen of Peace Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of the Wayside Catholic Church, 37575 Chapitco Road, Chaptico, MD 20621.
