Alfonso "Al" De Meo, 80, of Dunkirk, Maryland passed away on January 14, 2020 in Prince Frederick, MD. He was born on August 30, 1939 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Alfred Vincent and Agnes Marie Dizeo De Meo.

Al was employed as a data processor for the United States Government and was a member of the Mail Handlers Union and of the National Organization of Retired Federal Employees. He served in the United States Army Reserves for six years.

Al's hobbies included gardening and fishing. Those who knew him well described him as a quiet person, who could also be quite a character. Al is survived by several dear friends.
