Archie Edward Scott, 60, of Leonardtown, MD formally of St. Leonard, MD passed away on November 4, 2008 at St. Mary's Hospital in Leonardtown, MD.

Mr. Scott was born May 19, 1948 in Prince Frederick, MD to the late Gladys Ramsey and Hillary Scott, Sr. He is predeceased by his siblings Harvey "Dick" Scott, and Jeanette Corley.

He is survived by his devoted companion of ten years Martha Herbert of Leonardtown, MD , a brother Hillary "Bottin" Scott, Jr. and his wife Patty, cousins Robert Bowen and his wife Joann of St. Leonard, MD., Mary Frances Kirby and her husband Shorty of Prince Frederick, MD, Sally Langley of St. Leonard, MD, Milton Bowen of Lexington Park, MD and Norman Bowen of Lusby, MD, and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at the Rausch Funeral Home, 4405 Broomes Island Road, Port Republic, MD, on Friday November 7, 2008 from 6-7:30 PM where services will follow at 7:30 PM with the Rev. Ruth Dixon officiating. Interment will be private.

Memorial contributions may be made to Waters Memorial United Methodist Church, 5400 Mackall Road, St. Leonard, MD 20685.
