Shirley Victoria Fox, 67, of Lexington Park, MD died at her residence located in Savannah, GA.
Born September 5, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Virginia "Virgie" Bolt Biscoe and Charles Aloysius Biscoe. On September 18, 1983, Shirley was married to her soul mate James C. Fox, Sr. In sharing 25 glorious years together. Shirley and James, "Fox" shared quality time with their children as well. She leaves all of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren with many fond memories. She affectionately nicknamed all of her grandchildren so she could personally remember each of them. Her heart was always full of warmth. She was always optimistic and loving; her favorite pass time was playing cards and playing slot machine, and visiting with her closest friends. On Tuesday, November 4, 2008 at her home in Savannah, Georgia was relieved of her burdens and embraced in the arms of the Lord. She is survived by her devoted husband of 25 years, James C. Fox, Sr.; 9 loving children, Evelyn Moody, Johnny C. Moody (Rebecca), Kathy M. Norris (Tommy), Angela V. Hubbard (Carl), Sherlane L. Briscoe (Calvin), Yevette L. Pollock, James C. Fox, Jr.; Teizo M. Fox and Ebony Fox. She is also survived by 5 grandsons', 6 granddaughters'; 4 great-grandchildren, and a host of other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Cherrie Speck fondly known as "Punkin"; Brother, James Bolt, Jr known as "Jim". Her devotion and ability to bring joy, happiness and humor and warmth will always be remembered by family and friends. We were truly blessed by God to have her as a part of our lives. Family will receive friends at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church 16922 St. Peter Claver Rd, St. Inigoes, MD 20684 on November 10, 2008 from 9:30 am to 11:00 am with a Mass of Christian burial at 11:00 am with Father Scott Woods officiating.
