Francis Aloysius Butler, "Wish", 77, of Great Mills, MD formerly from Bushwood, MD passed away one December 17, 2019 in Callaway, MD. He was born May 7, 1942 in Washington, D.C. He was the loving son of the late Grace Helen Bowman-Butler and Arthur Aloysius Butler. "Wish" was the loving husband of Virginia Ann Butler.

He survived by his children Grace Helen of Lexington Park, MD, Marshall Delgado of Bushwood, MD, and 3 grandchildren. As well as his siblings; Arthur Jerome Butler, Ann Elizabeth Butler, and Constance Delores Butler. He was preceded in death by his siblings; James Walter Butler and Clarence Joseph Butler.

"Wish" was a lifelong resident from St. Mary's County. He graduated from Banneker High School. "Wish" was a truck driver for Universal Fuel for 20 years, retiring in 2010.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 23, 2019 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bushwood, MD. Where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM with Father Samuel Plummer officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Dominique Willis, Francis Jones, Timothy Butler, Wendell Withers, Jwan Withers, and Joshua Butler. Honorary Pallbearers are John Tyler, Edmund Armstrong, David Williams, James Butler, Jr., James D. Butler, and Marcus Jones.
