Michelle Maria Harbison, 59, of Dunkirk, MD passed away in Dunkirk on November 9, 2019. Michelle was born in Nova Scotia, Canada. She was the daughter of Norwood Wallace and Theresa Pinkowski Ozark. Michelle had lived in Dunkirk since 1992. She worked as a reading instructor for visually impaired students with Calvert County Public Schools until 2005 and then with Anne Arundel County Public Schools until her retirement in 2016.

For the next two years, she took care of her granddaughter during the day and then went on to spend most of her free time camping. Michelle enjoyed being with her grandchildren; spending time at her "happy place" campground in Virginia with her daughter and family; hiking and fishing with her son and his girlfriend; working on puzzles and listing to early rock music.

Michelle is survived by her son, Brandon (Monica Sexton) Harbison of Dunkirk; daughter, Amber (Roger Thacker, Jr) Harbison of Lusby, MD; brother, Damian (Mary) Ozark of Sarasota, FL and grandchildren, Dylan and Madelynn. In addition to her parents, her husband, Barry, predeceased her.
