Laura Jean Underwood, 62, of Port Republic, MD, passed away on October 29, 2008 at her home.

Laura was born August 29, 1946 in Patterson, New Jersey to the late Sidney and Emily L. McLelland. Laura loved boating, camping, fishing and crabbing.

Beloved wife of Gary J. Underwood of Port Republic, MD, devoted mother of Richard Todd Magnussen of Lusby, MD and Douglas C. Gohr of College Park, MD. Laura is also survived by her brother, Glen David McLelland of Voorhees, NJ and two grandchildren.

Services will be held at a later date in Alabama.
