Millicent Agatha LaFleur, age 93, of Waldorf, MD died on November 8, 2019 in La Plata, MD. Millicent was born on June 7, 1926 in Cumberland Village in Guyana, South America. She was a resident of Charles County for over 30 years and attended Calvary Gospel Church in Waldorf. Millicent worked in hospitals as a Nutritionist from 1963-1988 and was a Home Health Aide from 1991-1996.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Beatrice LaFleur; her lifelong companion, Harold Rodney; one daughter, Nadia LaFleur; and one granddaughter, Kayla LaFleur. Millicent is survived by three sons, Dr. Edward LaFleur, Willet LaFleur, and Mamid LaFleur; one daughter, Lynett LaFleur; one brother, Vernon LaFleur; one sister, Maureen Oxford; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

A viewing for Millicent will be held on Friday, November 15, 2019 from 5-8PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel in La Plata. A second viewing will follow on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at Calvary Gospel Church in Waldorf from 10AM until the time of her service at 11AM. Interment will immediately follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Waldorf.
