Denise Della Volla Mulhert of La Plata passed away on Oct 26. She was employed by Giant Foods Local 400 in La Plata, and previously at Apehangers in Bel Alton.

She is preceded in death by her father, CMSGT Roland P. Anderson (USAF Ret.) of Camp Springs, and her brother, Roland J. Anderson of Clinton.

She is survived by daughter Melissa Patton and Jeremy Burch of La Plata, daughter Michelle Della Volla Khan and Saad Khan of Indian Head, and daughter Amanda Della Volla of La Plata; grandchildren Dayne Anthony Della Volla , Jaiden Wallace Burch and Kaydn Ullah Khan. She is also survived by her mother Joanne Anderson and Donald Rogers of Wareham, MA, sister Sheila and Eric Griffith of Rehoboth DE, brother Mark and Elizabeth Anderson of Waldorf, sister Wendy and Jack McIntyre of Phila, PA; nieces and nephews Justin and wife, Becky Griffith of Wicomico, Jennifer Griffith of Miami, FL, Lonna Anderson of Tacoma Park, Jessica Anderson of Arlington, VA, Josh McIntyre of Phila, PA, Jackie Anderson of Waldorf, Alyssa McIntyre of Phila and Brandon Anderson of Chesapeake Beach.

Family will receive friends on Thursday October 30, 2008 at the Lakeside United Methodist Church 2900 Smallwood Drive West, Waldorf, MD from 5-8pm. A life celebration service will be held on Friday October 31 st at the church at 11am Rev. Ken McDonald will officiate. Interment will follow at the Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton, MD.
