Margaret Elizabeth Buckler of Mechanicsville, MD, formerly of Camp Springs, MD died on Saturday, October 28, 2006 at the St. Mary's Hospital in Leonardtown, MD. She was 77 years old.

Born May 14, 1929 in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the late Pearl E. Penn and Clyde W. Wood. Mrs. Buckler worked as a waitress at the Shuler's Restaurant in Clinton, MD for over twenty years and later at Tucker's Restaurant in Upper Marlboro, MD for over twenty years.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Buckler was preceded in death by her husband Charles George Buckler; son Robert Daniel Buckler Sr.; siblings Shirley Thomas, Clyde D., Clarence W., Harold E., and Morris Wood.

She is survived by her daughter Judy A. Buckler of Mechanicsville, MD; son George E. Buckler Sr. of Mechanicsville, MD; sisters Thelma Craddock, Linda Wood and Virginia Wood; brother Russell L. Wood; grandchildren George Buckler Jr., Stacie Leonard, Nicholas Buckler, Lisa Reed, Kim Cook, Sean Owens, Robert D. Buckler Jr. and Deborah Buckler; great grandchildren Alisha Reed, Courtney Reed, Britney Cook, Alexis Cook, Cameryn Cook, Kristin Diehl, Amanda Kelly, Saleana Kelly, Brianna Chialastri, Lauren Buckler, Kobe Owens, Tyler Owens, Garrett Buckler, Bryan Leonard, Nicole Leonard, Ashley Leonard, Jessica Leonard and Shelby Leonard.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8PM at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A. 30195 Three Notch Road Charlotte Hall, MD where funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2006 at 11AM with Pastor Daniel L. Moore of Callaway Baptist Church officiating. Pallbearers are George E. Buckler Jr., Robert S. Owens, Robert J. Owens, Robert Buckler Jr., Nicholas Buckler and Sockie Zois. Interment to follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Suitland, MD.
