Sandra Lee Kane, 57, of Edgewater, MD, formerly of Huntingtown, MD passed away peacefully at her residence on October 26, 2008. She was born March 27, 1951 in Chester, PA to the late Robert Ward and Grace Sarah Trumbull.

Sandra was the beloved wife of Basil Kane, Jr. whom she married September 10, 1971 in Prince George's County, MD. She was a bookkeeper and loved quilting in her spare time.

Sandra is survived by her husband of thirty seven years Basil Kane, Jr. of Edgewater, MD; daughters, Jennifer Kane of Chesapeake Beach, MD and Emily Coppage (Daniel) of Nanjemoy, MD; Siblings, Karen Davis of Pottstown, PA, Ghordis Trumbull of Wilmington, DE, Letitia Marshall of Harpers Ferry, WV, and Todd Trumbull of Orange Park, FL; Mother in-Law, Marjorie Kane of Prince Frederick, MD; Sisters In-Law, Christina Stalcup of Shady Side, MD, Suzanne Kanelopoulos (Talbot Clark) of Prince Frederick, MD, and Linda Strohecker (Robert) of Shady Side, MD; Aunt, Doris Trumbull of DE.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 31, 2008 at 11 AM in First Baptist Church, Prince Frederick, MD with Rev. Ralph Nevin officiating.
