Shirley Hazeleen Sain Barrier, 94, formerly of Morganton, NC, died October 18, 2008, in La Plata, MD.
Born April 28, 1914, in North Brook Township, NC, she was the daughter of the late Marcillia Sain and Georgianna Cook Sain. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, James Stanley Barrier. She is survived by her son Jack Barrier and his wife Janice of Morganton; daughter, Judy Karabin and her husband Raymond of La Plata, MD; grandson Christopher and his wife Donna Karabin of White Plains, MD. The family will receive friends Thursday, October 23, 2008, from 12 - 1PM at Kirksey Funeral Home, Morganton, NC. Funeral services will follow at 1PM. Burial will be at Barrier Family Cemetery in Jonas Ridge. Local arrangements provided by Raymond Funeral Service. |
