Sherry Lynn Pogar, age 57, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home on the morning of August 30. She was born December 9, 1961 in Arlington, Virginia. She was a devout Christian who shared Jesus with everyone she met. She was a current Junior, studying psychology with a concentration in crisis counseling, at Liberty University. She had a compassionate heart for helping people and loved her friends and family.

She is survived by her husband, Timothy; her sister, Constance Yew; her three sons, Timothy Jr., Jonathon, and Joseph; as well as her eight grandchildren who were the apple of her eye. Visitation on Thursday, September 5, 2019 from 5-8PM with Memorial Service at 7PM, officiated by Pastor Carl Snyder, at Grace Chapel Ministries, 39245 Chaptico Road, Mechanicsville, Maryland 20659.
