Helen Christine Brady, 82, of Lusby, MD passed away on October 14, 2008 at Calvert Memorial Hospital. She was born on June 8, 1926 to the late John Alfred and Bessie Christine Pittman in Flat Creek, AL but was raised in Knoxville, TN.

She was preceded in death by her two husbands Calvin Leon Brady, Sr. whom passed away on January 22, 2002, and Roy Henderson, her step-son Lee Brady and three brothers and three sisters.

Helen is survived by her three beloved daughters Jeanette and her husband John McCall of Waldorf, MD; Belinda Watson and Robin Loche of Lusby, MD and Linda and her husband Kenny Baker of Norfolk, VA.

She is the devoted sister of Pauline Pate, Ruby Wright, Fred Pittman and Bud Pittman. She is also survived by her thirteen grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Helen enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles, listening to gospel music and she cherished every opportunity to spend time with her loving family.

The family received friends on Tuesday, October 21 at the Rausch Funeral Home, P.A., 20 American Lane, Lusby, MD from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. where the funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 22 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Steve Fehrman from Southern Calvert Baptist Church officiating. Interment followed at Maryland Veterans Cemetery Cheltenham, MD. Pallbearers were Ronald Watson, Richard Watson, John Gary McCall, Jason McCall, Brian Richard and Todd Venneman.
