Joe Rizza, 92, of Lexington Park, MD died October 14, 2008 at his residence.

Born February 8, 1916 in Wilder, VA he was the son of the late Louie Ritz and Mary Lagiudici Ritz. Joe served as a radioman in the U. S. Navy from 1937 until 1959. He coached youth baseball and bowling, and was a member of the VFW.

Joe is survived by his son, J.M. Rizza and daughter-in-law, Lisa Ann Rizza from Baltimore, MD, and his sister, Pauline Ricketts of Hagerstown, MD. He was preceded in death by his wife of sixty three years, Ruth Rizza on March 6, 2008.

Services will be private.
