Warren Alexander Beatty, 95, of Chaptico, MD passed away on July 31, 2019 in La Plata, MD. He was born on September 9, 1923 in Richmond, VA and was the loving son of the late Louise Argent Beatty and Isaac Beatty. Warren was the loving husband of the late Pearl Madeline Beatty whom he married on June 21, 1947 in Washington, DC and who preceded him in death on September 16, 2012.

Warren is survived by his children Madeline L. Montgomery of Palm Coast, FL, Brenda J. Green (Timothy R.) of Clinton, MD, Antonio T. Beatty of Chaptico, MD, daughter in law Pamela M. Beatty, 6 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son Darnell C. Beatty, son in law Albert H. Montgomery, siblings Samuel Beatty, Eugene Beatty and Elayse Toumer.

Warren graduated from Armstrong high school in 1941 and Howard University. Warren served in the United States Army from February 27, 1943 to January 25, 1946. While serving in the Army during WWII, he earned the Pacific Theater Ribbon W/2 Bronze Battle Stars, Philippine Liberation Ribbon w/1 Bronze Battle Star, 4 Overseas Service Bars and Good conduct Medal He moved from Camp Springs, MD to St. Mary's County, MD in 1988. Warren worked as a computer Operations Manager for a Washington, DC law firm. Warren enjoyed the Videography, and photography, gardening Carpentry work and music.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 9, 2019 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, Leonardtown, MD where a Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM in the Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Joe Lloyd officiating. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Bushwood, MD. Arrangements provided by the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, P.A. Leonardtown, MD.
