Mary Jean Thompson, 85, of White Plains, Maryland, entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 29, 2019 in La Plata, Maryland after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of the late John A. Thompson and devoted mother of Leatrice, Lacey (Judy), and Vanessa Thompson. In addition to her children, she leaves to cherish her memory four grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, and a host of loving relatives and friends.

Visitation on Thursday, August 8, 2019 from 9AM until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 3320 St. Peter's Drive, Waldorf, Maryland 20601. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery, 8000 Woodyard Road, Clinton, Maryland 20735. Arrangements by Raymond Funeral Service.
