Dorothy Josephine Culpepper, 90, of Waldorf, Maryland, died on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at the Genesis Healthcare Center in Waldorf. Born on May 20, 1929 in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the late Caroline E. Gatta and Mario A. Gatta. Mrs. Culpepper was a homemaker and mom and also worked as a nanny. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Edward Culpepper Sr.; sons Allan, Robert E. Culpepper Jr., and Eugene W. "Bill" Culpepper; granddaughter Angelina Marie Culpepper.

Mrs. Culpepper is survived by her daughter Ann Walker; her daughters-in-law Terri Lee Culpepper and Lisa Culpepper. Also survived by grandchildren and their families: Alicia and her husband Michael Newton and their children Sean, Darius, and Christian; Kathleen and her husband Leo Davis and their children Gabrielle, Sydney, and Nick; Robert and his wife Jen Walker and their daughter Katarina Carmen and her husband Chris Duvall and their children Cole and Gia; Amanda (Mandy) and her husband Robert (Bobby) Yandell and their children Tyler and Samantha; Brandon and his husband Jake Culpepper-Perdue.

A visitation and service will be held at Raymond Funeral Service, P.A., 5635 Washington Avenue La Plata, Maryland 20646 with interment at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date
