Billiejo Dunn, 45, of Cobb Island, Maryland passed away peacefully at home from complications from cancer on June 26, 2019. She was born on September 21, 1973 in Washington, D.C. to Bill and Mary Kaye Haynes. She was raised in Mechanicsville and La Plata, graduated from McDonough High School in 1991, and married Jimmy Dunn on August 4, 2001.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is survived by her loving children Marc, Jordan, Karley and Maxi; sister Chrissy Haynes; mother-in-law Brenda Dunn; nephews Blake Williams and Ben Thomas; nieces Brynn Williams, Amber Roberts and Kaitlyn Dunn; and grandson Kai Brasher. She is also survived by her paternal grandmother Dorothy Behrens, paternal step-grandmother Jeanne Norris, and maternal step-grandmother Susan McGuigan and a host of other friends and relatives.

She was a hairdresser for over 20 years and was also currently working for the Charles County Government. She was a Yankees fan and big Redskins fan (and Dallas hater), loved women's soccer, and spending as much time with family and friends as possible. She also liked to recycle and upcycle things, refurbish furniture, and do remodeling projects on their home. She was truly a people person and loved by many.

Her family would like to thank Hospice of Charles County and Debbie Fikejs and Nicole Lynn Dolinsky for setting up a Go Fund Me for Billiejo.

Family will receive friends at Raymond Funeral Home in La Plata, Maryland on Sunday, June 30, 2019 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. and on Monday, July 1, 2019 for a Service at 10:00 a.m. Please join the family for a Celebration of Life immediately following at the Accokeek Banquet Hall located at 16111 Livingston Road, Accokeek, Maryland. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, family would appreciate donations to an educational fund established for Maxi Aurora Dunn at Bank of America.
