oseph J. Garrity, 87, of La Plata, MD passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2008.

He is predeceased by his parents; John W. Garrity and Marie G. Garrity, and his wife; Theda Mae Garrity. He is survived by his Sons; Joseph J. Garrity, Jr., John F. Garrity. Daughters; Karen M. Jenkins, and Mary E. Adams. Brothers; Donald Garrity, and Richard Garrity, and 4 grandchildren.

There will be a Life Celebration on Friday, October 10, 2008 at the Arehart-Echols Funeral Home, P.A. from 5-8 pm with the Mass on Saturday, October 11, 2008 at 10 am at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in La Plata, MD. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton, MD.
