Imogene L. "Sissy" Mundey, 67, of Prince Frederick, MD passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2019. Born in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of Mary Alice (Corcoran) and the late Robert Raymond Rohme. Sissy was the beloved wife of the late Raymond L. Mundey. She loved to sing, especially hymns, listening to music, dancing, Elvis Presley, playing the slots, reality TV and watching Roger Federer play tennis. She loved to cook, was a caregiver and a provider for many.

Sissy was the loving mother of Douglas E. Rohme (Kristie), Elizabeth R-H Evans (David), Annette Choinier (AL), Mary Baxter (Rex), Deborah Roszel (Mark) and mother-in-law of Sharon Mundey and was the devoted grandmother of Cameron, Emilie, Ethan, John, Jenifer, Amber, Richie, Kenny, Steven, Al, Matthew, Jason, Jonathan, Rebecca, Timothy, James and Michele. She was the sister of Louie Rohme (Mary), Barbara Ashrafzadeh (Hassan), JoAnn Campbell (Charles), Judith Nichols (Joe), Robert Rohme (Debbie), Mary DeGroat (Rick), Maria Harrison, Winifred Wagner (Chuck), Tammy Roys (Daniel), Michael Rohme (Patty), Jerry Rohme and the doting aunt of Louie, Jr., Bonnie, Susan, Siamac, Saeed, Jennifer, Evaun, Crystal, Carrie, Robert, Justin, Christina, Sarah, Cody, Samantha, Alexis, Chris, Donnie, Daniel Jr., and Jerry Jr. Sissy is preceded in death by her sons Raymond and Richard Mundey and her grandchildren David Evans, Jr. and Keith Choiniere.

The family will receive friends Thursday, June 27 from 10:00 am until the start of the Funeral Service at 11:00 am at the Dunkirk Baptist Church, 11275 Southern Maryland Blvd. Dunkirk, MD 20754. Interment will follow at Southern Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 10155 Ward Road Dunkirk, MD 20754. Contributions may be made to your favorite charity in her name and memory.
