Celeste Lorraine Branyan, 55, of St. Leonard, MD, passed away at home on October 6, 2008.

Born November 24, 1952 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late George F. and Zella Colburn Rickert. She loved life, the Rennaisance Festival, collecting faeries and most of all being with her family. Celeste and her husband John Earl Branyan have been a resident of St. Leonard for 32 years, where they raised their three children; Eric G. Branyan and his wife Emily of Sterling VA, Colin E. Branyan and his wife Michelle of Owings Mills, MD and Jaime Branyan of Middle River, MD. Sister of Arnold G. Rickert and his wife Shirley of Madison, TN and the late Randall C. Rickert, she is also survived by her two grandchildren, Liam C. Branyan and Anthony M. Lovecchio.

The family will receive friends at the Rausch Funeral Home, P.A., 4405 Broomes Island Road, Port Republic, MD on Friday October 10, 2008 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM where funeral services will be held on Saturday October 11, 2008 at 2 P.M. Interment will follow in Chesapeake Highlands Memorial Gardens, Port Republic, MD.
