Daisy Margaret Shegogue, 88, White Plains, MD, passed away October 6, 2008, at University of Maryland Hospital, Baltimore, MD.

Mrs. Shegogue was a homemaker and a member of United Methodist Church, La Plata, MD. She was also a member of the 2-n-1 Club at the Clark Senior Center and the Eastern Star Lodge in La Plata. She enjoyed sewing, baking, and cooking. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother.

Born November 24, 1919, in York, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles William Smith and the late Laura Ellen Lehigh-Smith.

She is survived by her husband, Earle H. Shegogue; one son, Ricky (Nadine) Aubel of La Plata, MD; four daughters, Patricia (Bob) Bennett of Sparks, MD, Vicki (Bernie) Posey of Marietta, GA, Sandy (George) Shegogue of Bel Alton, MD, and Debra (Scott) Allen of Lillian, AL; one sister, Dorothy Gotwalt of York, PA; also survived by nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 8, 2008, from 6:00-8:00 PM at New Life Church, 9690 Shepherd's Creek Place, La Plata, MD.

Funeral Service on Thursday, October 9, 2008, at 10:00 AM at New Life Church, officiated by Rev. Mike Hilson.

Interment will be at Prospect Hill Cemetery, York, PA, at 2:00 PM.
