Orma Jean Hawkins, 74 of Mechanicsville, MD died on October 30, 2006 at Charlotte Hall Veterans Home, Charlotte Hall, MD.

Born on October 10, 1932 in Detroit, Michigan, she was the daughter of Arthur and Lily Nesterowich Schwarznau. She was a Secretary for World Bank. Prior she served in the U.S. Navy from 1952 until 1956.

She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Joseph Hawkins.

Survived by a daughter and her husband, Debra Lynne and Christian Karl Sams, sisters, Lois Tatro and Mary Lynne Williams, a brother, Arthur Schwarznau, He is preceded in death by a brother, Louie Schwarznau and a grand dog, Lily, a black miniature poodle.

Service and Interment will be private.
